There were a ton of recreational vehicles which was loud and very dusty. We camped within a half-mile of the communication towers located just off Schnebly Hill Road at approximately 4 1/2 miles and enjoyed 4-bars on Verizon. The ride through the trees on the upper rim is a peaceful, relaxing drive on a fairly smooth well maintained road. Love this place. Evidence that wagons used this road extensively over the years can still be seen in places today through deep and narrow ruts in the bedrock surface.
